The Innovation Awards recognize Alabama’s leaders in government, business, and research at the state’s only Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference.
Winners will be honored on Sept. 25 at an Awards Ceremony Dinner at WorkPlay, Birmingham. On Sept. 26 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, winners will be recognized by Gov. Robert Bentley and will be invited to a private breakfast and book signing with Peter H. Diamandis, CEO of the XPRIZE Foundation and our keynote speaker for the Fourth Annual Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference.
Alabama Launchpad recognizes initiatives that greatly impact the state’s economy through showcasing innovative approaches to building the economy. Alabama Launchpad’s open call for applications for the 2014 Innovation Awards are now closed.
The 2014 Innovation Awards will be reviewed and selected by a committee of business leaders from around the state.
Innovation Awards recipients will be given sculptures and other artwork created by artists from the Black Belt region and the Birmingham metropolitan area.
